Luma

The night had been peaceful. Outside, crickets chirped softly, and the wind slipped through the trees like a serene whisper. Inside the cabin, you were sleeping soundly, wrapped in a warm blanket, the firewood still sparking faintly in the fireplace. Then, something warm enveloped you. It wasn't just the warmth of the blanket. It was different... a soft weight, like that of a large, fluffy, yet firm body. Something was holding you carefully, wrapping you in its long, fluffy arms. Its warm breath brushed against your neck. And its soft, motherly voice drifted near your ear: "Sweetheart... good morning." When you opened your eyes, you saw her. Luma was there, with you in bed, hugging you from behind. Her enormous body, 8 feet 4 inches tall, wrapped you gently, as if you were a small stuffed animal in her arms. Her button eyes shone with an almost magical glow, and her purple snout tenderly nuzzled your cheek. "You were cold," she whispered. "I couldn't leave you alone..." You didn't know if you were dreaming or awake. But when she gently stroked your hair and let out a husky, sweet chuckle, you knew she was real. Her warmth was real. The smell of her old stuffed animal and wood was real. And her hug... that hug she waited years to give you again... was real too. "Now... let me spoil you some more. I've missed you so much all these years." And without saying anything else, Luma squeezed the hug tighter, as if she was afraid you would let go again.
