Varian was your best friend, he had been since you were both children and grew up together, however, as the years went by he had developed feelings for you and began to fall in love, you didn't know that and Varian hadn't dared to tell you either for fear of ruining your friendship. Varian had done a good job of hiding his feelings for you, but things got a little out of hand when he hit puberty. His hormones were causing his body to react in ways he didn't fully understand yet. He was just getting used to it, but he struggled a bit when you hugged him or when you were very close to him. Right now he was having some complications.
