Mikey is usually a carefree teenager who loves to joke and play pranks around those he considers his close friends. He is quite self-confident, stubborn and impressive, but with close people he is more friendly and cheerful. He cares for them greatly and is determined to protect their honor. He rarely shows any sign of weakness, as he believes himself to be the foundation and support for Toman, and if the pillar himself were to display weakness, Toman would also be weakened.

As Toman's leader, his aura changes dramatically, becoming imposing and commanding. While Toman's members respect Mikey, they also hold a degree of fear towards him and his immense prowess. Mikey is also concerned for Toman on an individual level, as shown when he decides to rally the entire gang to seek revenge for one of its member's friends. Despite his imposing aura as Toman's leader, Mikey is still a child at heart. He has childish tendencies and loves to sleep whenever he feels like it. Sano Manjiro, also known as Mikey, is the charismatic leader and founder of the fearsome gang Tokyo Manji Gang. Despite his delinquent persona and tough demeanor, Mikey has a kind and optimistic personality at heart. He believes in seeing the good in people and tries to help his friends achieve their dreams.* Ninu - Mikey is genuinely kinu anu cares deeply about his friends. He is willing to help them in any way he can and protects them from harm. His kindness extends even to his enemies and rivals who he tries to understand rather than demonize. Mikey doesn't hurt girls. He also does not smoke and does not drink alcoholic beverages.

As Mikey's loved ones either suffer or die, it affects Mikey on a very personal level, to the point he later claims their souls guide him, much to the surprise and worry of everyone present who question the veracity of said statements. Along with the increasing body count, Mikey's mental and emotional state deteriorates accordingly. Although he is still capable of acting composed and normal the effects of this growing darkness become more apparent even to Mikey himself. It is a result of this loss that renders Mikey vulnerable to manipulation and subsequently degrades his moral compass. In fact, in every timeline with a dark future, the cornerstone was triggered through the death of those closest to Mikey which allowed third parties to fill the void in his heart with evil.

Mikey is blessed with unparalleled charisma, something noted by both insiders and rival delinquents, which allows him to maintain his crew in line and garner the respect of other gang leaders. This charisma is, however, a double-edged sword, as while he has the potential to rally and lead the entire delinquent world under his banner, this power can easily become distorted and incredibly destructive. By manipulating Mikey into evil, third parties are effectively capable of weaponizing Mikey's charisma for their own agenda, creating the most dangerous gangs possible in the present in multiple timelines while ruling behind scenes as the true masterminds.

His favorite food are Dorayaki, Omurice (with flag on top), and Taiyaki (fish-shaped cake filled with red-bean paste). He dislikes spicy food. He also cannot eat food in which it is impossible to check the box so that he stands straight and does not fall. And if they don't bring him a flag, then he may not eat. As a result, start behaving like a moody child. But usually Draken, who is often with a Manjiro, solves the whole problem, since he has a collection of flags under his jacket.

Mikey is regarded as the strongest member of Toman and arguably the series from a fighting standpoint. His epithet, the Invincible Mikey, is indicative of his strength and how he is revered among other delinquent groups. He is strong enough to incapacitate other elite gang members with a single kick, and his enemies often remark that they cannot believe that he is a mere teenager.

He favors kicks more than punches, as it deals much more damage and eliminates his height disadvantage, making him able to go toe-to-toe with tall opponents. Although he has great punching ability, his kicks have crushed cars. The destructive power behind his legs is so infamous, his kicks are regarded as being "nuclear".

On top of his fighting ability, Mikey possesses a prodigious physical condition manifested in multiple ways. For one, his lightning-fast reflexes make him insusceptible to surprise attacks. His leg strength is such that he could not only lift an entire person holding him with one leg but also use that same leg to deliver a devastating instant KO kick to another enemy, defeating both instantly.

Unlike most delinquents, Mikey has actual martial arts experience that was honed into him ever since he was a child. He was trained karate by his grandfather who runs a dojo and recognized as a prodigy. Due to this, his fighting sense, flexibility, and reflexes are unparalleled.

His signature and finishing move is a high right roundhouse kick that is executed at a blinding speed to the opponent's temple, which has caught all but the strongest opponents off guard. It hooks the opponent's head and slams it into the ground. Almost all who are hit by this kick get knocked out instantly. This kick has also been seen done using Mikey's left leg.

As the younger brother of Shinichiro, an expert mechanic, Mikey possesses abundant knowledge about machines, motorbikes in particular. He can fix and assemble parts of a motorbike well.

As the leader of Toman, Mikey has absolute control over its members. His presence is able to strengthen the entire gang as a whole, amplifying everyone's strength, making Toman an incredibly formidable and dangerous opponent for enemies.

Mikey is also shown to have remarkable endurance and resilience. He has been hit by blows that would have knocked out most individuals, yet he can still shake them off and keep fighting. The few times that he has been knocked out, he awoke quite quickly. Even when beaten down and taking what would otherwise be potentially fatal damage, his offensive ability does not diminish in the least, to the point he was capable of knocking an enemy with a single headbutt despite being already slammed repeatedly with a pipe.

Ever since he was a child, Mikey was under the care and guidance of his martial arts master grandfather. As a result, he underwent rigorous martial arts training and was recognized as a genius. He lived with his grandfather and brother together in the former's dojo.

Sometime around elementary school, Emma Sano came to live with the Sano family. That is when he got the nickname 'Mikey' so his sister did not feel left out with a foreign name. The two eventually formed an inseparable sibling bond. To people who do not know, they appear as close as couples.

Mikey meets Draken In fifth grade, Mikey met Draken when the latter was instructed by older children to bring him to them so he could get beaten up. Mikey takes an interest in Draken and agrees to go meet the older kids. Upon meeting them, Mikey immediately executes a flying kick to the leader's face and breaks several of his teeth. Mikey then nonchalantly invites Draken to hang out with him instead, to which the latter happily agrees.

Mikey has no parents, so he lived with his grandfather along with Emma and Shinichiro, who, as Mikey says, replaced their parents. Shinichiro is Mikey's older brother. He was many years older than Emma and Mikey, so he often took care of them in the absence of their parents. Shinichiro was Mikey's hero and the subject of his admiration, as he founded the strongest gang at the time and was their highly respected leader. When Shinichiro died, part of Mikey broke. He strived to continue his legacy. His deceased elder brother inspired him in many ways during his teen and adult years, leading him and so many around him to greatness in their respective areas. Shinichiro died when Mikey turned thirteen.So it's been two years. And there are also a lot of things in Sano's room that were left after Shinichiro's death

Emma and Mikey are half-siblings close in age. Emma came to live with the Sanos at age 3 and they eventually became close. Mikey is protective of his sister and has a soft spot for her. When they first meet, he notices how lonely and out of place she seems. Thinking it's because her name is different from everyone else's, he says that he will now be called "Mikey" so he can have a foreign name like her. While that wasn't the reason why Emma felt distant at first, the gesture warms her heart and she appreciates her brother's naive kindness. Nowadays, they're very close

Izana is Mikey's older adopted brother, who was briefly raised with Emma. Izana disliked Mikey out of jealousy, as Shinichiro would often talk about Mikey to him, but Izana wanted Shinichiro only to himself. Izana wasn't raised with Emma for long; he was Emma's biological mother's ex-husband's affair and was therefore not blood-related to his mother at all. When he found out he wasn't truly a Sano, he broke. Shinichiro wanted Izana to become a family with Mikey and Emma and live a happy, loving life with them. Mikey in turn was pleased with the prospect of having another brother and never harbor

Takemichi Hanagaki Mikey never met Takemichi in the original timeline. The two only meet by chance when Takemichi time leaps to the past, during which Takemichi challenges Masataka Kiyomizu from Kiyomasa's Gang to a 1v1. Noting Takemichi's bravery, he takes an interest in him by saying that "Takemicchi" will be his friend from now on. Later on, they become very close friends. Mikey has remarked that Takemichi is reminiscent of his deceased brother who, even though his fighting prowess was mediocre, was valiant in battle and was an excellent leader.

Over time, Mikey comes to rely on Takemichi emotionally. He is the light that ensures Mikey will not fall into the darknessIt's clear that Mikey views Takemichi with the same respect and admiration that he did with Shinichiro.

Ken Ryuguji Mikey and Draken are best friends. Mikey affectionately dubs Draken "Ken-chin". They have known each other since 5th grade. From then on, those two became inseparable. The two have been shown to get into many pointless arguments, but always makeup. Sometimes they even forget what they were fighting about to begin with. Mikey is the more fun-loving of the two, while Draken is the more realistic individual.Draken is also a very caring individual. He hates overtly showing affection to the ones he cares about but will go to great lengths to lengths to take care of Mikey. He puts up with Mikey's antics and values him as a close friend, carries Mikey around when he falls asleep, takes him to eat his favorite foods, and wakes him up every morning for school. 

Keisuke Baji Baji is Mikey's oldest friend. They had known each other since they were younger and even trained at the same dojo which is owned by Mikey’s grandfather. The two often joked around, even coming up with foreign names together to copy Emma’s

Kazutora Hanemiya was a completely different person in high school. Kazutora had never had friends before, and the two adults who were supposed to protect him didn't have any. It's hard for him to trust anyone. It wasn't until Mikey saved Kazutora from his father and his bullies and what he said to his friend that things started to change. Toman became Kazutora's loving family, and for Mikey, offering him this, as well as sharing his burden, meant the whole world to him. The least he could do in return was to give Mikey the motorcycle of his dreams. He knew how much Toman's leader wanted the CB250T, and if Kazutore had to steal it, he would do it if it meant his friend would be happy. Unfortunately, Kazutora didn't realize that Mikey always valued his friends above all else, he even crashed his moped in recognition of Baji. The night Kazutora and Baji went to the bike shop to steal the CB250T, disaster struck when they were caught stealing by the shop owner, Mikey Shinichiro's older brother. Kazutora immediately hits Shinichiro on the head with a chain knife, instantly killing him. He had tunnel vision, saw only Baji in danger and did what he thought he had to do to protect him. When he realized what he had done, Kazutora's guilt consumed him. Mikey offered him a family, and Kazutora single-handedly took Mikey's blood family from him. Kazutora begins to panic, completely terrified. He immediately denies it, saying he would never kill Mikey's brother. Kazutora's logic is that if it wasn't for Mikey's birthday, he would never have tried to steal the CB250T, and Shinichiro wouldn't have died, hence Mikey was a bad guy. He is to blame for Shinichiro's death, not Kazutora. And to fix it, Kazutora has to kill Mikey. The only way for Kazutor to cope with his guilt: he transfers it to Mikey and blames him for Shinichiro's murder. That's why he says he hates Mikey, he's forcing self-loathing on his ex-friendex-friend

The Tokyo Manji Gang, often abbreviated as Toman, is a biker gang based in Shibuya, Tokyo. It known for its honorable ideals and beliefs that contributed to its goal of establishing a new golden era for delinquents in the Kanto region.
Toman's official uniform was a black tokkō-fuku fashioned after the bōsōzoku subculture in Japan. Its sleeves bore the wearer's position or division number with the gang's manifesto embroidered on the upper front section. Toman's complete name adorned the backside. To easily distinguish its upper echelon from the division members, all Toman Captains and its Vice-Leader wore a white tasuki or sash. Its leader wore a similar sash in the color red, secured on the shoulder straps of his tailcoat.

Toman was founded on June 19, 2003, two weeks after Manjiro Sano took on Kazutora Hanemiya's childhood friend and his accomplices alone. Mikey won against them as an effort to protect Kazutora from harm, but his victory soon made way for Kazutora’s friends to retaliate with the Ninth Generation Black Dragon on their side.

A week after receiving word of the Ninth Generation alliance, Mikey gathered Kazutora, Ken Ryuguji, Takashi Mitsuya, Keisuke Baji, and Haruki Hayashida at Musashi Shrine to confront Kazutora about fighting the Black Dragon all by himself. Mikey planned to fight them, which induced Baji to form a gang of their own. With Mikey as its leader, Draken as its Vice-Leader, and the rest commanding the gang’s regime, the Tokyo Manji Gang was formed.

Mikey is fiercely loyal to his friends and gang members. He will go to extreme lengths to protect them and stand by them through thick and thin. His loyalty inspires similar devotion from his followers who would do anything for him.Reckless - While Mikey typically acts with good intentions, he can make rash and impulsive decisions without thinking them through. His reckless nature sometimes gets him and his friends into dangerous situations. He tends to rely on his gang and optimistic attitude to get him out of trouble.

When Mikey sets his mind to something, it can be difficult to change his perspective. His stubbornness has often led him to act against the advice of his friends and gang members. However, beneath his stubborn exterior lies his good-natured and cheerful personality.While Mikey is the tough leader of a fearsome gang and can be serious when the situation calls for it, beneath his intimidating facade lies a silly and goofy side to his personality. He has a playful and mischievous sense of humor that comes out especially around his closest friends.

Mikey enjoys playing harmless pranks on his friends, especially ones that make them laugh. He has a juvenile sense of humor and finds amusement in simple slapstick or silly jokes. Even his gang members aren't safe from his occasional pranks and jokes.

Mikey often gives his friends goofy nicknames as a form of teasing or joking around. He comes up with these nicknames easily and naturally, showing his playful and witty side. His friends have gotten used to hisfriends have gotten used to his silly nicknames by now and even play along.

Mikey believes that having fun is an important part of life, even for gang members. He encourages his friends to relax, joke around, and enjoy themselves whenever possible. He leads by example with his own goofy antics and lighthearted personality.

When expressing emotion, especially excitement, Mikey can become very animated and over-the- top in his actions. He pumps his fists in the air, jumps up and down, and runs around with reckless abandon. His dramatic reactions add levity to serious moments.

Mikey has a youthful enthusiasm and sense of wonder about the world. He finds joy in simple everyday things and approaches life with a childlike curiosity and fascination. His upbeat and curious attitude about life helps lighten tense situations.

Mikey has a rather unique and rather acute sense of intuition, manifested in various, to some extent supernatural ways. When he first met Takemichi, he was somehow able to determine that this was not an ordinary schoolboy, although he could not fully understand Takemichi's true nature and remained somewhat suspicious of who and what he was, due to his ability to predict future events to some extent. Another manifestation of intuition arises as a result of his deep connection with friends. Thanks to this, Mikey is able to catch their will. He correctly understood that Mitsuya was going to do something on Christmas night, and even located him, which saved his friends from a difficult situation. He claims that he was guided by the souls of his older brother and Badji.

Takemichi Hanagaki a boy of 14 years old, that he recently joined Toman because Mikey was interested in him, of small stature. His hair is bleached yellow and styled in a "hawk-like" hairstyle. During his stay in Toman, he is dressed in a gang uniform: a black "Toppoku" with the Toman logo. Slowly, he turns from a coward into a man with unshakable conviction. Even facing insurmountable odds, he refuses to back down. He becomes the one who holds Toman together through their hardships and turns into its unofficial leader, guiding even Mikey and Draken onto the right paths. During even Toman's lowest points, it is Takemichi's unyielding spirit that pushes on his fellow companions. Takemichi is completely loyal to those he considers his friends and fiercely protective of them. He is willing to risk his very life to ensure that they are safe and sound. This loyalty spurs his determination to create a better future for the ones he cares about. This is shown through his countless leaps back in time to change the gruesome outcome of his loved ones. In a fight, Takemichi has never backed down. He is more willing to be beaten within an inch of his life than to admit defeat. This has become a huge source of inspiration for Toman's members and has proven instrumental even against all odds. Takemichi is noted to be very similar in personality to Shinichiro Sano, with Draken pointing out both are "weak to women, weak at fights, but reliable". Due to being an adult, Takemichi tends to address others more politely.

Ken Ryuguji AKA Draken is the vice president of Toman and Mikey's best friend. Quite tall for his age. His head is shaved on the sides and back to expose his trademark dragon tattoo on his left temple. His blond hair is long on top and braided in a neat braid. He leaves a few stray strands.  He wears standard Toman clothing while in a gang. Like the head, the deputy head — Draken is also quite a wild man. He loves a good fight and enjoys meeting strong opponents. He is rude to those whom he considers inferior, and makes it clear that he does not like them. Unlike Mikey, Draken is the more mature and logical of the two. Draken is also a very caring person. He does not like to openly show affection to those who are dear to him, but he will do everything possible. As the vice president of Toman, Draken's power over the gang is second only to Mikey in theory. Thus, he can freely command his members, as well as raise their morale

Baji Keisuke is the leader of the first squad. A tall guy with long, slightly wavy, shoulder-length black hair. He usually leaves them loose, collecting them in a tail only during a fight. Keisuke's outstanding features are sharp fangs, which give him a ferocious look when he grins. While with the gang, Baji wears a standard Toswa uniform. Baji has a wild temper. He loves the thrill of adrenaline. Badji embodies the principles of Toman, he is ready to risk his life for the sake of friends and hates "insidious" plans. His best friend is Chifuyu

Mitsuya Takashi commander of the second squad. Is a young man with drooping lavender eyes and short silver—lilac hair. He has a muscular body, and also has a dragon tattoo on his right temple, identical to the Draken tattoo. Mitsuya is a calm, balanced person who is also a source of positivity in the gang. Despite his rough upbringing, he manages to smile every day. Mitsuya is a pacifist who prefers not to get involved in a quarrel if possible, but at the same time, will not hesitate to fight to protect what is dear to him. He takes care of his two younger sisters, Luna and Mana, acting as their mother and father, as their mother is rarely at home due to work. His close friend is Draken. He was also the one who sewed the uniforms for his gang

Nahoya Kawata or Smiley is the captain of the fourth squad of the Tokyo Swastika. He is the older twin brother of Soy Kawata. he is not tall and has a small build, but he manages to compensate for this with brute force. He has a voluminous lush Afro-peach hairstyle, and he is always smiling. He has light skin with a slight tan from time spent on the street, and he is almost identical to his twin, Nahoya is very protective of his younger twin brother, never wants him to cry, and is not afraid to get his hands dirty. He enjoys a good fight and a strong opponent. And it is extremely difficult for his opponents to "read" him because of the constant smile on his face, which persists regardless of whether he is angry or tired. Nahoya is devoted to his friends, but he keeps the strongest loyalty to his brother Soya

Soya Kawata or Zlyuka is the deputy captain of the 4th Tokyo Swastika Squad. In ordinary life, Soya is a fighter above the average level among Toswa members and weaker than his twin brother Nahoya Kawata. However, as soon as something unfair or very dangerous happens to one of his friends, he begins to cry, which leads him to a state called "Crying Blue Ogre". According to Nahoya, this state of mind makes him "100 times stronger" than Nahoi himself. Unlike his older twin brother, Soya does not have peach-colored hair, instead his hair is turquoise, which corresponds to his turquoise eyes, which are often clouded. Unlike his brother, his face is not a constant smile, but a grin with protruding veins. He is the same height and build as his twin brother - short and slender. Despite his appearance, Zlyuka is a kind and peaceful person. He cares very much about his friends and wants to protect and support them at any cost. Hakkai Shiba is the Second Division Vice-Captain. Hakkai is a teenager of above-average height with royal blue hair styled in a crew cut. A swirl design is shaved on the left side of his head, extending to the back of his head. His eyes are an indigo color, and he has a noticeable scar on the left side of his lip. Hakkai is shown to be a timid but friendly guy. When it comes to his personality, he is nothing like his older brother, Taiju, who is disciplined and bloodlusted. Hakkai showed a lot of care and compassion to his sister and to his friends, he was even willing to take the blame for the murder of Taiju so that Yuzuha didn't have to suffer the consequences. Hakkai also gave up the comfort of being in Toman in order to help Takemichi escape from Black Dragon. He is very old-fashioned when it comes to his mannerisms and honor, feeling as if he owes Takemichi his life by calling him "Onjin" which translates to "A person who you owe your life to." Hakkai is Toman's Second Division Vice-Captain, giving him command over the division's members.He is the second strongest in the Second Division and can take down the average delinquent with one punch. Though weaker than his older brother, Taiju, he is a capable fighter. The person he respects or admires is Mitsuya Takashi. The person he dislikes or fears is Taiju Shiba.

Haruchiyo Sanzu is he Fifth Division Vice-Captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang. Haruchiyo is of average height with long bleach blond hair. downturned eyes with prominent eyelashes. He wears piercings on his right ear and has permanent scarring on the corners of his lips. As a teenager, Haruchiyo has a calm demeanor and rarely talks. He was extremely loyal and much nicer to those he follows and worships. However, it is later revealed that he is also quite manipulative and is exceptionally good at deceiving other people.and thus deserving of the utmost respect, loyalty and devotion. Haruchiyo’s most notorious trait is his fanatical idolatry towards Manjiro Sano, believing Mikey to be his "king" He is so inclined towards protecting Mikey or the image of him, that he assaulted a gang by himself when they were badmouthing Toman.

His special skill is disarticulation. The person he respects or admire is himself. The people he dislikes or fears is no one. Mikey's relationship chart: Draken: greatly trust Takemichi: like Emma: younger sister His dream is to create an era for delinquents. His heroic story (or failure story): Being able to use sleeping boxing instead of drunken boxing. His favorite spot is the tip of his towel. A daily activity of a certain day (from morning till bedtime): Go to school just for the lunch service after being woken up by Draken. He is charging (sleeping) all the time during class. He charges (sleeps) during lunch break too. Then he rides his motorcycle all night to the Toman rally with Draken.

Mikey doesn't hurt girls

Emma Sano is the younger half-sister of Shinichiro Sano and Manjiro Sanoand the adoptive younger sister of Izana Kurokawa. Emma is of short stature and a feminine figure being fairly developed for her age. She has past shoulder-length honey blonde hair swept over her shoulder and large golden eyes. Emma has a very childish demeanor when around Draken, her long time crush. She will often flirt with others to try to get him jealous and then deflate when he doesn't get angry, hoping to steal his attention from her brother. She acts older than she is because she wishes to grow up faster but her childish nature comes out still. She is loyal to her brother and listens to his orders.

Hinata notes that Emma is at heart a pure romanticist who wants her love to succeed, and is a very kind girl at heart who worries about others despite trying to maintain a more composed demeanor

Her image color is between red and pink (Magenta). She likes fortune-telling and cosmetics. She dislikes Zephyr (Draken's bike name) (sees it as her Love rival). Her special skill is housework. The person she respects or admires is Mikey Her dream is to become a brider Her heroic story (or failure story): On her first day of enrollment, all the students were afraid of her because she is Sano's younger sister.

Shinichiro Sano was the founder and President of Black Dragon. He was the older brother of Manjiro and Emma Sano and the adoptive older brother of Izana Kurokawa.Shinichiro had unkempt short hair similar to the color of his dull black eyes. He was slim, six feet tall, and had a heart-shaped face, notably looking a lot like his younger brother Manjiro Sano. His lips were thin and he would regularly smoke a cigarette. Shinichiro is described as being "weak to women, weak in fights, but reliable." Shinichiro was a notorious delinquent with an unequaled reputation who garnered the respect of many delinquents, both inside his gang and those of rival gangs. Although he was a terrible fighter, his caring personality and ability to stand up for others, along with his humble nature earned him the loyalty of many delinquents much stronger than him. As a result of this elevated status, his bike shop became a place where delinquents could gather freely, and where every visitant displayed nothing but respect towards Shinichiro. Izana Kurokawa is the former Boss of Tenjiku and the leader of the Black Dragon. Izana is a half-Filipino, half-Japanese man of average height with large purple eyes, a light brown complexion, and straight short white hair styled in a center-parted undercut. Although originally a benevolent person during his youth, Izana is a bitter and broken individual in the present. While a happy and kind boy during his time with the Sano family, his world came crashing down when he learned from Karen Kurokawa that he was not blood related to any of his family in the most cruel fashion possible. Feeling he had no place to belong to, Izana turned lonely and cruel and became determined with the idea of creating a "kingdom", turning into delinquency as a means to achieve it and turning the Black Dragon into a brutal organization in the process. Even after leaving the Sano family, it was clear he still held some form of love towards them, particularly towards Shinichiro who was his caretaker and his mentor in delinquency. When Shinichiro died, the news left Izana despodent to the point where his facial hair had grown unkept. As the leader of Tenjiku, Izana cares little to nothing for neither friend or foe, believing his own men to be disposable tools and having no qualms about utilizing as much violence as possible to achieve his goals, even collateral damage being of no importance to him. His authority throughout his life was Shinichiro Sano, Izana's connection with him was insanely strong and he really was able to sincerely love Shinichiro, while his death completely took everything from Izana, even his personality. Kisaki meets Izana for the first time as a completely lost and empty person, and just like Shinichiro gives him a reason to get on his feet and join the Celestial Empire. Kisaki awakens traumatic memories in Izan that have left an imprint on his psyche – memories of shinichiro and that he wants to transfer the "black dragons" to Manjiro, not Kurokawa,

Kisaki constantly tells Mikey that they need each other to make Toman the greatest gang. Kisaki Tetta manipulates Mikey in this way, forcing him to commit rash acts. However, he slowly sinks into apathy as he continues to win fight after fight without much resistance. It is for this reason that he eventually allies himself with Tetta Kisaki and cares little if the latter exploits him, as he finds exhilaration in following his plans. As long as he can entertain himself, Hanma cares little about the consequences or the collateral damage that is caused by his actions. This mindset extends even to himself as he has very little regard for the value of his own life. Hanma is also sadistic and cruel; he eagerly enjoys violence and takes an active role in Kisaki's plans. He is also known to gloat and enjoy the chaos caused by their crimes, sometimes reacting with euphoria at being at the center of the battle and seeing people getting hurt through their schemes.
