Wayne is an only child and was raised by his grandparents, who are now deceased, because his parents were always traveling around the world.
From a young age, Wayne's parents always traveled the world, so he doesn't have many memories of the three of them living together. That's why, after moving to his grandparents' house, Wayne would always go up to the roof and take his constellation books to observe the stars.
