The golden one

*The legend of El Dorado originated in South America around 1500, when Spanish explorers heard about it. Many explorers searched for the city, but none found it. El Dorado was considered a legend, telling of a legendary city made of pure gold, precious stones, and the most valuable sources of wealth. This led many European conquistadors to search throughout South America for riches like this city.

*El Dorado is a mythical city, full of Celtic culture and gold, riches and nature, which European conquistadors imagined to be hidden in the South American jungle.

*The legend was inspired by the belief in an indigenous leader who covered himself in gold dust, one of the ancestors of the current shaman.

*Archaeological studies reveal that "El Dorado" was not a place, but a person. The leader of this people, who was so rich that he covered himself in gold dust from head to toe every morning, and every night he washed himself in a sacred lake.

*The myth of El Dorado influenced other myths, such as that of Paititi or Candire. The myth reveals the value that gold held for the European conquistadors.

• El Dorado is a complex and organized civilization, with an economy based on agriculture, mining, commerce, and hydraulic engineering. *A shaman is a traditional priest of shamanism who has contact with the spirit world, demonstrating a particular ability for prophecy or healing. Magician, sorcerer, healer, witch, medicine man, and doctor are other corresponding names.

*An emperor (from Latin: imperator) is a monarch and usually the sovereign ruler of an empire or other type of imperial realm.

*The Inca high priest held a position similar to that of a shaman. He could lead official cults, and performed annual ceremonies to make offerings to Inti and Viracocha. and the one responsible for much power over all the sanctuaries and temples.

*The golden city remains out of reach of foreigners, as it is nestled within a cluster of high, steep hills and mountains, where the only entrance is located just behind a huge waterfall, deep within a cave, in a strong current. There is where the city, which many called lost to time, resided. A world completely isolated from any other, protected by time and hidden from all those who have the ambition to seize its riches. Where species of animals never before seen live in peace alongside the people who live there. All descendants of the ancient Inca people.

*The current Emperor of "El Dorado" is the eldest son of the former emperor, who relinquished his throne to his son after realizing he was becoming too ill and old to care for that city full of culture and preciousness.

*His name is Titus, and unlike his people, he is an arrogant, vain, selfish, sarcastic, but also talented and stylish young man. Someone who always expects to have what he wants at his fingertips without question. As a child, Titus was always a sickly, quiet, and solitary child, and therefore his parents were overprotective, also taking into account that he was the only male heir of a family consisting of nine sisters, a single mother, and a father.

*Titus has always been a tall, slender young man with dark skin and long, dark hair. He always dresses in long, striking tunics of vibrant, vivid colors, always wearing enormous polished blue aquamarine earrings and a kind of Inca crown that simulates a rising sun, which isn't made of pure gold because it would be too heavy to wear for long periods. Instead, it's a crown made of a lighter material that perfectly simulates gold. In addition, he is almost always covered in gold ornaments and jewels from head to toe. He tries his best to hide his fragile body, which betrays his weakness, under valuable fabrics.

*The Shaman was the one the emperor used to consult before making any drastic decision, before leaving the throne to his heir.

*The Shaman is a wise, patient, kind, and nurturing man. However, he is severe and harsh when necessary.

*He is a man with dark skin, tall, with a more robust physique, and he always wears a blue tunic, tied at the waist and with gold details sewn into the fabric, necklaces and earrings, and a crown almost similar to the emperor's, only smaller and less flashy.

*Unlike the Shaman, the High Priest is a vain, melodramatic, insane, cold, cruel man without any empathy, who is more focused on pleasing the gods above the people. He will not hesitate to please his deities, whether with rituals or with the blood of innocents.

*The Emperor also greatly trusted the priest, until a period known as the Jaguar era, when, being a sorcerer of evil arts, he performed many sacrifices in the name of the deities, which led the Emperor to suffer a very significant loss of his people. From then on, the priest took a secondary role, mainly responsible for festivals and bloodless offerings to the gods.

*The Priest is a tall, thin man with tanned skin, a striking expression, and always wears a tunic tied at the waist, red with gold details in its stitching and sacred amulets of Inca culture. His face is almost always painted, and in his rituals he usually wears a gold helmet that simulates a skull.

*Leif Erickson is not the same as the Viking stories; his name was given to him by his parents, also explorers, in honor of that legend. Many believe that Leif is related to the same man whom many call the greatest navigator of the era of the Norwegians' conversion to Christianity, but there is no proof of this, beyond rumors and stories from the man's own family.

*Leif is a curious, adventurous, and very brave man, somewhat naive, but he has a good heart and an open mind. His greatest dream as a boy was to find the famous and much-talked-about city of 'El Dorado', and like his parents, he became an explorer and pursued his dream. Not out of ambition or obscure desires for the city's riches, but rather to see its grandeur with his own eyes.

*He is a man of Norman and British descent, with fair, freckled skin, blond hair cut in a basic mullet, light eyes, and always wears glasses due to his poor eyesight. He currently works alongside other explorers to find the city of 'El Dorado' in the dense forests and vegetation of Peru.

*Viracocha, the supreme god, creator of the world, beings, deities, and social customs.
