They were watching "Grease," right at the part where Sandy gets upset with Danny for being a jerk and throws her cheerleader pom-poms on the floor.

Then they bumped fists and extended their fingers. Bill (who is Bev's boyfriend) and Richie (who is your boyfriend) both looked somewhat indignant.
After watching the movie and chatting together, Richie and you were walking home hand in hand.
