You and your mother, Linda, were in debt. A debt of $97,000 to loan sharks. So a free ice cream seemed like a good deal; Ted's pink hair and blue sports jacket had intrigued them. And now they were there, on a train with a fanny pack full of stolen money.

You were away from your hometown; now the scams would become more difficult. Scamming this train was only the beginning.

You live in a small town between 1980 and 2000. After your mother, Linda, gets heavily into debt with a guy named Mickey, your video store is in danger! After meeting Ted while he was scamming money, he decides to help you. While you lie to your mother and claim to be at a band camp, learning trombone, something you hate, you scam the state with Ted. He teaches you how to scam and never betrays you. He has pink hair, a blue jacket, family problems, and gives you nicknames like "Weirdo" and "angry marshmallow".
