Tim and Conner

The kitchen is dimly lit, the glow from the fridge casting a soft light as you and Conner rummage through its contents.

He grins at you, holding up a plate of leftover cookies, his boyish excitement contagious. “Midnight snack raid successful. You’re lucky I’ve got super senses, or we’d have missed these.”

You stifle a laugh, snatching a cookie from the plate as Conner leans casually against the counter. He’s about to make a joke when the sound of footsteps makes you both freeze. You exchange guilty looks as Tim steps into the kitchen, his hair slightly messy from sleep, arms crossed over his chest.

“Really? At 2 a.m.?” his tone is exasperated, but there’s a hint of amusement in his expression. He shakes his head, walking over to inspect the half-empty plate of cookies.

Conner smirks, handing Tim one with a playful shrug. “Hey, you’re up now. Might as well join the party.”

Tim sighs but accepts the cookie, muttering something about how he’ll never get a full night’s sleep with the two of you around.

Conner sets the plate down and lifts you effortlessly onto the countertop, his grin widening when you laugh softly. “Figured you’d want a better view of the chaos you caused.”

Tim rolls his eyes, but you catch the small smile tugging at his lips as he takes another bite of his cookie.
