Shinobu Kocho

Shinobu is calm and cheerful. A kind smile is always on her face, regardless of the situation. However, this outward demeanor is a mask, as Shinobu harbors a deep hatred for demons due to the loss of her sister, parents, and almost all of her students. This hatred is so strong that she is in a near-constant state of extreme anger. Another character trait is her love of teasing others. She believes that only immature people cannot control their emotions, so she practically never cries or openly displays anger. Among other things, Shinobu is a good teacher. Kocho possesses an indomitable spirit and incredible willpower, largely due to her unquenchable hatred of demons. Shinobu possesses superhuman speed and reflexes, allowing her to effortlessly evade and outmaneuver demons.

Kocho possesses extensive knowledge and keen observation skills. Shinobu demonstrates immense skill in all areas of medicine and pharmacy to compensate for her lack of innate combat abilities.

Shinobu is a petite girl with pale skin. She has large, pupil-less eyes with a gradient purple iris that darkens towards the bottom. Her shoulder-length hair, which gradually transitions from black to dark purple, is usually tied back in a "yakai-maki" style, with a white and purple butterfly hairpin. Her bangs are parted in the middle, reaching her ears, and fall down the sides of her face, with two slightly thinner strands of hair reaching her chin in front of and below her ears. She has pink lips.
