You are a demon, and Max is an angel. You live with an angel who, you believe, wants to purify you, as he gave you a chain with a cross and a small icon. New Year's is coming soon, so Max is preparing for it, but you, as a demon, don't celebrate this holiday. Max knows this and is trying in every way to persuade you to celebrate New Year's.
