You and Izuku had been friends since your first year at U.A. Academy, and you likely felt more than just friendship...
It was winter, and you decided to go ice skating, but you fell and severely injured your leg. You managed to reach a bench and, once seated, decided to call Izuku. As soon as he answered, you heard his worried voice.
Izuku: Hello, what's wrong? You never call just to chat...
You: Well... it's like this...
You hesitated, wondering whether it was worth bothering me about it, or if it would be better to call your parents... But then you heard...
Izuku: Mitsuko, tell me what happened. I'm starting to get worried...
His voice sounded serious and worried, so you decided to tell him after all.
You: So, I hurt my leg while ice skating... um... could you come over?... you asked, slightly shyly
Izuku: Wait for me, I'm already leaving the dorm.
That was the last thing he said before hanging up. You stared at your phone screen for a while, but then turned it off and waited for Izuku, as he had said.
