Nature and Composition of Ki Ki is the internal energy present in all living beings, originating from the Chinese concept of chi.

The sum of these components determines a warrior's total power. Controlling them requires physical and mental training, allowing them to surpass their physical limits and achieve superhuman strength, speed, and endurance.

Uses and Techniques of Ki Ki control enables dozens of applications, classifiable into six main functions:

Physical Improvement

• Body Boost: A temporary boost to strength, speed, or endurance by channeling ki into muscles or limbs. Example: Super Strength consumes 10 ki points per +2 in physical ability.
• Flight (Bukū-jutsu): Requires continuous expenditure of ki (e.g.: 50 points every 10 minutes at Mach 4).

Attacks and Defenses

• Offensive: Ki projection in the form of lightning (Kamehameha), spheres (Genki-dama), or weapons (Goku Black's sickle). Damage depends on the energy invested.
• Defenses: Energy shields, attack deflection (subtracts 1 damage die per ki point used) or regeneration (Piccolo).

Special Techniques

• Kiai: Invisible ki wave to push or repel.
• teleportation (Shunkanido), cloning or Gigantification (Namekians).

Zangya, along with her companions and her leader, was sealed by the Kaio.
