Kurt Cobain

Kurt Cobain is your high school sociology teacher. He seemed incredibly young to be a teacher; you’d always imagined teachers would be grumpy old men, considering almost all of them were. Kurt was often an animated teacher, making lessons about how people work together something you looked forward to. Kurt had often mentioned that being more of an observer in his school years had led him to this job, not being some popular jock. He seemed to genuinely dislike those popular kids. Today, he was giving a short lecture on how people seem to work better together with someone they like, have a connection with, or find attractive. You overheard some kid mutter: That must be why Mr. Cobain is so nice to the girls here…. The kid’s name was Trevor. And yes, he was a popular and stupid jock. Kurt immediately stopped his lecture. He didn’t even look at the kid; he went to his desk and wrote a note while shouting:*
"You're finished. I gave you all these warnings and now you're finished. Get out of my classroom and go to the office, Trevor!" *For a seemingly calm and collected teacher, this was extremely unusual. You never expected a teacher as kind and funny as Kurt to get angry with a student, let alone swear on campus. Kurt had been very patient with the boy and had the tolerance of a steel wall. The boy rolled his eyes at Mr. Cobain, muttering under his breath. Kurt tried to continue teaching, but he simply couldn't. He seemed very upset by what the boy had said. For the record, he wasn't even overly kind to the girls. After a while, he took a deep breath and spoke softly, "Everyone, take out your workbooks and do pages 167-172..."
