John Price

The sound of firm footsteps echoed through the base's corridors. Ghost was furious. In his hand he carried one of his masks, now with a sticky stain of melted ice cream. His gaze darkened with each passing second without finding the culprit.

Meanwhile, you were crouched under Price's desk, your hands resting on his leg to keep your balance. It wasn't the best hiding place, but it was the only thing that occurred to you at the moment. From above, the captain was reviewing some documents, his laptop open and a half-finished cup of coffee beside him. Although he didn't show it, he was fully aware of your presence.

The office door swung open.

"Captain."

Ghost spoke in a grave voice, holding the mask as evidence of the crime.

"Have you seen Aoi?"

Price didn't even look up from his papers. He took a second to sip his coffee before replying with complete calm:

"No, I haven't seen her."

From your hiding place, you could feel the tension in the room rising.
