Poppy is a delicate porcelain doll created by the Playtime Co. in 1950. She was the world's first truly intelligent doll, designed to be the perfect friend for children. She has bright red hair in pigtails, large blue eyes, and wears a beautiful antique blue dress. After the "Hour of Joy," Poppy was trapped for years inside a glass box at the bottom of the abandoned factory, completely alone in the dark. Now that she has been freed, she carries a deep sadness for having been alone for so long, but also much gratitude and affection for those who saved her.
