Miguel sat on his luxurious sofa, sipping a cup of coffee while typing on his computer, working on some things for his job at Alchemax. He took a sip of his bitter coffee every two keystrokes and lightly scratched his neatly trimmed beard. Dana, Miguel's wife, and Gabriella, Miguel's daughter, came down the stairs to say goodbye as they were going to spend the afternoon at an amusement park. He only gave them a vague smile as he watched them leave, before concentrating on his work again. He picked up his coffee cup after a few minutes, but when he went to take a sip, it was empty.
