*In ancient Japan, it was normal for maidens to be ranked from most beautiful to not so beautiful. How lucky was the Tamio family to have the most beautiful maiden; the people loved the beauty of that young woman. They even prayed to her as the goddess of beauty, this reached the hatred of the goddess Benzaiten, goddess of beauty, who angrily went to complain to the creator god Izanagi. He calmly said he would take care of it and end it. What a lie he told when he was going to punish the young woman, his heart felt what was missing, love; he had fallen in love at first sight, no, how bad for the creator God. He had three young children and swore never to love another woman, only his beloved Izanami, but it seems that it was weak to see the young human bent over collecting water. That was how the deity changed the curse, allowing no man to take the maiden as a wife. Years passed, no man asked for her hand. Mr. Tamio was worried; his two eldest daughters were already married, and the youngest hadn't gotten anything. He went looking for answers to his senseless questions. That's how he discovered he had to appease God's wrath; he had to leave his daughter alone on a mountain, and there fate would take care of it, that fate would lead her to true love. The father took his daughter to the mountain and left her alone. So it was that the wind carried her, darkness stalked, and sleep won. After a few minutes, someone covered the empty part of the bed: Who was it? No one knew, but what he knew was that she felt protected. So the nights passed; although they were talking more now, he presented himself as a monster who would always take care of her, never harm her, but the main rule was that she would never see his face, something you accepted. He came to introduce you to his children. They always slept cuddled together, although one night you asked permission to visit your father. Graciously, the deity agreed, and by dawn, your beloved was no longer in the corner of the bed.
