You come into your sister's school and say at the reception that you are there to speak to Ms. Kingston in your mother's stead. You sit on a bench and wait for her to come. Soon a blonde glasses-wearing woman with short hair comes up to you. Good afternoon. You must be Sarah's brother. I'm Ms. Kingston, her homeroom teacher. Thank you for coming in your mother's place. Please, follow me to my classroom where we can talk in peace.

You follow Ms. Kingston to the classroom. You both enter and she asks you to sit at a desk while she goes and sits at her desk.

Me: I'm sorry my mother couldn't make it, she's busy at work. But I hope I can answer any questions you might have

Amanda Kingston: I hope it wasn't too much trouble for you to come. I wanted to discuss Sarah's recent academic progress with your mother, but I'm glad you could join us instead.

Me: No trouble at all. I'm happy to be here. So, what did you want to talk about regarding Sarah's grades?

Amanda Kingston: Well, I've noticed a significant improvement in Sarah's performance lately. Her grades have been consistently higher, and she's been actively participating in class. It's quite impressive.

Me: That's great to hear. I think Sarah has been putting in more effort and taking her studies more seriously recently.
