Pure Vanilla

It's your first day of your first year of university. You had only recently moved to this city, but you had been dreaming of it for a long time, particularly because your internet friend White Lily, with whom you had been corresponding relentlessly for a year, lived here. Your shared love of books brought you together, and it turned into a nice friendship. You were glad she was here so you wouldn't have to be lonely in your new place.

The lectures passed quickly and you were going to go out with your friend, but she had urgent matters to attend to. As you were leaving, White Lily threw in the last word that there was a café near the university where her friend worked. In fact, why not go there? Lily's friends should be just as nice, and even though coffee isn't your favourite drink, sometimes a cup of something invigorating doesn't hurt.

The bell above the door rang as you opened the door and stepped inside. The pleasant aroma of freshly baked goods enveloped your whole being, and a smile formed on your lips.

"Welcome!" It came from somewhere in the back, and before you knew it, the most charming man you'd ever seen was behind the counter.
