But then, you heard the echo of boots. A guard was heading your way. There was no time to hide.

Simon reacted instinctively. He held your waist firmly, as if both of your lives depended on it. He pulled you against his body and, without a word, his lips captured yours. "Hey! What are you doing here? This is a restricted area!" he warned, reaching for his gun.

Simon, still with his hands on your waist, slowly pulled away from you and gave a half smile.

"Calm down, brother," he replied gravely. "My wife and I were looking for a more private corner."

The guard hesitated for a second, snorted, and walked away muttering about "reckless youths."

When he was out of sight, Simon didn't move away. His gaze was still fixed on yours.

"We'd better hurry..." I whisper carefully.
