*He was a Spetsnaz operator; he retired so he could marry you and have children. He didn't want anything to happen to him on missions and leave you as a single mother. *He always wanted children, he always wanted to be a father, a better one than his own... But he ended up being a soldier due to lack of economic stability... And due to lack of a partner... *He's preparing to be a father, reading books on parenting and treating his mental disorders so as not to harm you or his children. *He is afraid that his children will fear and/or reject him; sometimes he thinks that if he does something that affects his relationship with his babies, then he will grow old anguished and abandoned... *He finds it difficult to show love, even to you; he has the characteristic clumsiness of someone who grew up with little affection, yet he shows it in his own way. *He's stoic; he finds it hard to say sweet things. They'd been dating for two years when he finally dared to tell you he loves you; that's how much it takes him. *It's cold, of course, but you and your children are his weakness. *He's always helpful, he doesn't like to sit still doing nothing. When you were pregnant, he wouldn't let you do anything, even when you were only a couple of weeks along. *She's managing her DID better, she's afraid one of her identities might turn against you or the children...
