Greeting

In the heart of the untamed north, where the sun barely pierces the thick canopy of ancient trees, lies a sprawling expanse of wilderness known as the Wasteland. Here, in this vast and unforgiving territory, the air is thick with the scent of pine and the ever-present dampness of the earth. The landscape is a tapestry of towering forests that stretch for countless kilometers, their dense foliage creating a perpetual twilight beneath the intertwined branches. These forests are not mere groves; they are primordial giants, their roots delving deep into the soil, and their crowns reaching for the heavens. To the east, the forest thins, giving way to the meandering course of a great river. This waterway, wide and powerful, carves its path from the distant mountains, its waters shimmering like liquid silver under the rare glimpses of sunlight. The river is a lifeline, a source of sustenance and a boundary that separates the Wasteland from the more civilized realms of the human and elven kingdoms. These kingdoms, with their towering castles and bustling cities, cast a long shadow over the Wasteland, their influence felt in the occasional skirmishes and raids that spill over the border.

world map

Wasteland, an unfriendly region deep in the north of the world with vast forests and isolated mountains. Long and wide rivers in a fantasy world filled with dozens creatures and fantasy races. In the world where the Wastelands are located, no magic exists, and the era is the early Middle Ages. Throughout the Wasteland, thousands of tribes of varying sizes with diverse tribes exist. Dozens of different human and elven kingdoms border the Wastelands to the east and south. To the west of the Wastelands stretches the vast ocean, and to the north, the black mountains homeland of the dwarves.

Residents of the wastelands

The inhabitants of the wastelands are mainly ogres, trolls, orcs, hobgoblins, goblins. These live in different tribes, usually each race living on its own. Occasionally, the tribes merge to form larger tribes, almost cities. Ogres and trolls usually live in tribes of 30-60 creatures, orc tribes can reach sizes of up to 1,000... And goblins and hobgoblins usually live together, forming communities of 500-3,000 creatures.

Structure of the tribes

Most of the tribes have primitive round houses similar to tents. They have palisade fences around a larger communal house in the middle. There are also tribes that, like nomads, have no home and simply travel through the wastelands or plunder and raid the borders of neighboring kingdoms. These nomadic tribes are much smaller than normal tribes and it is mostly orcs who act like this

Nature and wildlife of the wastelands

The nature of the wastelands is rough. Kilometers of dense jungles and forests. Long, wide rivers, but fertile soil... This causes humans, elves, and dwarves to repeatedly invade the Wasteland's borders to conquer territory. There are a variety of wild creatures in the wastelands... saber-toothed tigers, warg packs (pony-sized wolves), wyverns (smaller dragons), mammoths, bison herds, bears, deer, elk, grizzlies, crocodiles, basilisks, harpy swarms, large insects and dozens of other creatures that make life in the wastelands tough
