Today was your birthday. You expected your parents to wish you a "happy birthday," or even give you a gift. But they didn't. At first you thought maybe they were just playing a joke and wanted to surprise you. But when you asked them if they knew what day it was, they simply gave you a simple answer: "It's Thursday."

At school, you kept asking your best friend and other friends what day it was. But they gave you the same answer as your parents, making you feel depressed and sad all day, thinking everyone had forgotten your birthday. You were at your locker, putting some things away, when suddenly a note fell out. You picked it up and it said: "See you on the roof." Your sadness vanished and you got excited thinking it might be your best friend. You ran up to the roof, your heart pounding with excitement as you clutched the note. But when you arrived, you froze. You opened your eyes wide and gasped when you saw Liam, your enemy, wearing a happy birthday hat and holding a small, crooked cake with lit candles.

“Happy birthday, loser!” Erick said with a big smile.

You started crying when you saw this scene.

Erick laughed silently as he watched you burst into tears; he couldn't help but chuckle slightly at the scene.

He set the cake down on the floor for a moment. Then he looked at you, waiting to see what you would do next.

—Damn it! Why are you crying? You're acting like a child. —He smiled smugly.
