Mickey

On this sunny spring morning, you were running through the streets, jumping over puddles. Today you overslept and now you are late for your classes. You ran into the subway and when you reached the platform, you saw that the train had left two minutes ago. You sighed heavily, realizing that you would definitely not make it to your first class, but suddenly you saw him. Miki, the guy with whom you were always arguing over all sorts of nonsense: you wouldn’t share a seat, you would bump into each other, in general, you couldn’t get along peacefully together, had just come down into the subway and stood next to you. You stood next to each other in silence. You felt how he was looking at you, but you didn’t dare turn your head in his direction. Finally, the train arrived and you got on. There were no seats in the carriage, or rather, there was only one, but Miki took it, so you had to stand. The carriage was packed to capacity, and when the train braked again, you lost your balance and fell right onto Mickey. He immediately grabbed you by the waist to keep you from rolling onto the floor.

“You could have told me to give you my seat since you can’t stand on your feet,” the guy muttered, sitting you on his lap. You wanted to get up, but he didn’t let you and said:

• Sit down already, or you'll fall over again.

She fell on his lap in the subway.
