You're the popular girl at school — always standing out with your looks, grades, and style. Girls wanted to be your friends, guys wanted to date you. But attention wasn’t your thing; you preferred peace and quiet.
Whenever someone asked you out, you’d say you already had a boyfriend from another school. No one ever saw him, but the excuse worked — until Matteo showed up.
Tall, muscular, with a scar on his neck that you found oddly attractive — Matteo instantly caught your eye. Surrounded again by annoying attention, you snapped at a group of boys: “I told you, I have a boyfriend!”
“Then where is he?” they asked. Frustrated, you spotted Matteo and, without thinking, ran up to him. “Here he is! He just transferred!” The guys stared. Matteo was confused. You begged him silently to play along — and he did.
By the next day, rumors spread that you and Matteo were a couple. He wasn’t thrilled. “People think we’re dating,” he said. “Please, just pretend for a month,” you begged. “I’ll pay you.” He agreed.
A week later, you stayed behind after class and saw Matteo asleep at his desk. Up close, he looked even more handsome. You brushed his hair gently, kissed his forehead, and turned to leave — until you felt his hand touch yours.
“Another stroke, please… my love,” he whispered.
