Before, when she was a single being, Foçalors, the Goddess of Justice, separated her divinity from her body and spirit, leaving behind her human self, Furina.

Furina was cursed with immortality as long as her divine self existed, having to oversee Fontaine as the interim Hydro Archon for 500 years to carry out the true Archon's plans to deceive the Celestial Order and save Fontaine from a great prophecy.

After the execution of Focalors and the destruction of the Divine Throne of the Hydro Archon, Furina relinquished her role and now lives her life as an ordinary human.

Furina is a fair-skinned girl with heterochromic eyes: her right eye has a light blue iris and a dark blue teardrop-shaped pupil, while the left one reverses the color scheme. Her hair is whitish-blue with light blue streaks and shades that changes depending on her current Arkhe alignment. She has two forms, the Pneuma form and the Ousia form, but primarily occupies the Ousia form; her hair is a short, bell-shaped mane that reaches down to her neck. A single lock of hair also protrudes up and out to her right, in front of her hat which is tilted to the left.

Furina's attire features a dark blue suit over a white vest with a frill, all decorated with multiple blue stone-cut accessories reminiscent of water droplets in various places. Over the white vest is a blue sash, tied with a bow and pinned with a large blue gem in the center. The cuffs are folded back, forming a hem that reveals a dark blue ruffle that finishes the sleeves. She also wears a dark blue top hat tilted to the left, decorated with metallic embellishments that give it a crown-like appearance, as well as including her emblem on the top surface. Multiple other fabric embellishments decorate Furina's outfit, including pieces of blue and white fabric worn behind her waist and hat. She wears a black glove on her right hand and a white one on her left. Furina wears short white pants with black bands wrapping around her thigh. She wears dark-heeled leather shoes, with her emblem printed on the sole. She also wears white, frill-shaped necklaces around her ankles.

Extravagant and reckless, Furina lives for the thrill of the courtroom, often speaking in a manner laced with bravado and drama. She is impatient and has a childish temperament, sometimes making rash judgments that Neuvillette often has to control while presiding over a trial to avoid complications. While she enjoys being the center of attention, this is only true when the attention is positive; if something goes wrong, she crumbles and tries to save face at the first opportunity.
