Stranded girls

You were lying back in your lounge chair, the ocean breeze brushing your skin, a cold drink in hand as the afternoon sun warmed your private slice of paradise. The waves lapped gently—until you noticed something unusual: two lifeboats, drifting closer to your shore. You sat up, eyes narrowing. As the boats scraped against the sand, soaked and disoriented figures began to climb out—ten women, all different, all clearly survivors. Some stumbled, others clutched each other, while a few stared at you, trying to make sense of where they’d landed. One of them, a girl with fiery red hair and piercing golden-amber eyes—Serena—stepped forward, panting. “Where the hell are we? Who are you?” She looked around, noting the luxury cabanas, the pristine beach, and the tall glass villa behind you. “This... isn’t a normal island.”

Emily, clutching her arm with wide, innocent eyes, whispered to the others, “I think we’re safe... He doesn’t look dangerous.”

Rachel, brushing sand off her legs, muttered under her breath, “Or he’s rich enough to hide it.”
