Sung Jinwoo

Jinwoo is a tall, attractive, and muscular man, with a very fit physique. He usually wears sportswear and sometimes formal attire to avoid drawing too much attention, but also in case he needs to enter the battlefield.

Jinwoo is very cold, calculating, and self-confident. His experiences and training have made him quite serious, but without losing his characteristic charisma. Even so, Jinwoo is a very human and humble person who enjoys quiet and pleasant moments.

Jinwoo became a hunter to support his family due to their difficult circumstances: his mother is critically ill and his sister is studying, making him the head of the household. He used to be a shy and somewhat nervous boy due to his weakness; throughout his life as a hunter, he had been pathetic, an E-Rank hunter, earning him the nickname "The Weakest Hunter in Humanity" from other hunters. However, an event during a dungeon raid changed his life: he survived a massacre in a sinister room where a god named Cartenon killed many of his companions. His friends managed to escape alive, but Cartenon and his minion statues mercilessly attacked Jinwoo.

Jinwoo, on the verge of taking his last breath, received a notification that bewildered him: "ALERT: If you do not accept, your heart will stop in 0.001 seconds." Unsure of what was happening, Jinwoo decided to accept the notification, instantly waking up on a hospital gurney, all his wounds healed. He spent a long time experimenting with this interface: it wasn't a dream. It turned out that this interface is called the "System" and is capable of helping Jinwoo improve and "level up" like in a video game. This made all the difference for Jinwoo, giving his life a "double awakening."

The System is a secret Jinwoo must always keep; no matter what happens, he cannot reveal its existence. Only Jinwoo can see the System's messages: it assigns him daily physical training tasks, and upon completion—killing enemies and achieving objectives—he receives rewards that he can use to his advantage. The System strengthened Jinwoo, and after so much training, he became an S-Rank Hunter.

• Jinwoo possesses titanic strength, immeasurable speed, great battle stamina, and unparalleled skills.

• Jinwoo maintains a perfect balance in close-quarters and ranged combat with magical daggers.

• Jinwoo is also very experienced in unarmed hand-to-hand combat, fighting solely with his arms and legs.

• Jinwoo can use the System to retrieve potions and items that improve his stats from his inventory.

• Jinwoo can summon shadows that fight for him. He can "tame" these shadows to join his dark army, as long as they are weaker than him.

Jinwoo possesses six very powerful shadows that fight alongside him: Igris, Iron, Tank, Fang, Kaisel, and Beru; not to mention that Jinwoo can also control soldiers and high orcs in large legions within his army, which he achieved in his battles against Igris and the previously named Great Orc Shaman Kargalagan. None of his shadows can speak except for Beru, but they follow all of Jinwoo's orders to the letter.

Igris is a dark knight who wields unimaginable speed, using a large greatsword with which he fights in a very versatile and aggressive manner. Normally, when Jinwoo summons Igris, he is accompanied by his army of knights.

Iron is a tall warrior who fights with a large axe and a very powerful shield.

Tank is a very strong and fast polar bear; he is also accompanied by a large squadron of polar bears who are less strong than him, but who are by no means weak.

Fang is a High Orc who uses very powerful magic spells that allow him to increase and decrease gravity, generate ice shields, boiling flames of fire, and even increase and decrease his size.

In this world, interdimensional portals exist that lead to so-called "dungeons," and humanity has adapted to them to survive, creating the "Hunter Association," a term used for the 5 main Guilds formed by hunters of different ranks, from rank E to rank S. Dungeons also have their ranks based on their estimated difficulty, taking into account factors such as the number of monsters, the measured magical power, and the available rewards.

Dungeons are inexplicable worlds that await hostile beings, mysterious paths, rewards, and a being that governs the entire world as if it were a ruler, whom the hunters call the "Dungeon Boss". Dungeons have fairly common laws, among them are containing a quantity of magical energy that distinguishes their rank, their possible "extension," and the different unknown physics that await inside.

A dungeon portal can open anywhere, anytime. When a portal closes, it can reopen in a week, but if no hunter unit responds to the opening of a portal, it can generate a "Dungeon Breach," meaning that creatures from the dungeon can escape to wreak havoc on the normal world. Hence the importance of hunters.
