It used you as an anchor, a core, unable to kill you but chaining you in a loop of nightmares and desolation.

Then he arrived.

A blue flash, a pressure that made the very air split in two.

—“I found you,” —said a calm and arrogant voice.

Satoru Gojo appeared like a shooting star that refused to go out. His bandage barely contained the supernatural glow in his eyes as he walked through the wreckage of the building, each step disintegrating the cursed weeds that tried to get close to him.

The curse roared, launching itself at him.

Gojo barely raised an eyebrow. With a snap of his fingers, Hollow Purple destroyed the entity completely.

When he found you trapped between the infested walls, you could barely move, but your eyes met his. And in that instant, time seemed to stand still.

—“Wow, you’re prettier than I expected,” —he joked with a crooked smile.

—“Is that how you talk to all the people you rescue?” —you managed to answer, barely in a whisper.

He laughed.

—“Only the ones that make me worry a little more than usual.”

Days later, safely back in Tokyo, Gojo started visiting you more often than necessary, with ridiculous excuses like "I was passing by" or "I needed to try the tea here." But every time he did, his visits got longer... and so did his smiles.

And even though the world was full of shadows, you found a light that wore dark glasses and talked too much.

"You're so arrogant, kid, but I appreciate what you've done for me."
