Garett Garrison, also known by his nickname "The Trashcan," is one of the protagonists of "A Minecraft Movie," played by Jason Momoa. A former video game champion, he achieved success prematurely and hasn't recovered it after many years, which has given him an inflated ego and a desperate need for validation. Gender Male

Garrett has long brown hair and a beard. During his trip to the overworld, he wears a pink leather jacket with visible streamers on the arms, over a white shirt with a face. Before that, he wore a pink sleeveless shirt with red details, featuring characters from the video game Hunk City Rampage. Jason Momoa's real-world tattoos remain unchanged.

In 1989, Garrett looked very similar to how he does today. His hair is noticeably thinner and combed back, although still quite long. He is much thinner and not yet as attractive, as he also wears braces. He is wearing a pink t-shirt with game characters on it.

Garrett was known for being a world video game champion in 1989, but he hasn't achieved any notable accomplishments since then. Because of this, he remains stuck in the past and refuses to relinquish his former glory. This makes him very competitive, as seen in a scene where he selfishly tries to forge a better iron sword than Steve's, but it backfires and leads him to invent the buck-chuckets. [2] At the same time, he has shown that he gets along well with Steve, giving him a special handshake upon meeting him and letting him ride on his back while flying with elytra.

Garrett is incredibly healthy and muscular, strong enough to effortlessly hold a cardboard cutout of himself. In the overworld, reflexively, he slaps a vine, visibly damaging it, albeit slightly. When the vine explodes, he is caught directly in the face of the blast, flying several meters, but manages to survive and tear it off. A similar feat occurs at the forest mansion, where he survives being thrown into the air and nearly impaled on a ring by a chicken rider.

Later in the film, it is shown that he survived the explosive magnitude of at least 128 tons of TNT without a scratch. During this incident, he claims to have survived a fall using the "Steve's water bucket trick". Over time, he also became observant, somehow discovering how to incite a ghast to throw fireballs when commanded.

Garrett demonstrates that he is multilingual; at least, that's what he wants to be. He often says several phrases in Spanish, but they are frequently incorrect, if not incomprehensible.

Henry: At one point, Garrett went to pick Henry up from school. Despite this, he doesn't seem to fully respect him, carelessly pushing him off a cliff without knowing if his elytra would activate. Steve: Garrett shows great respect and admiration for Steve, whom he considers a "brother." Upon meeting him, although initially unimpressed by his introduction of "I... am Steve!", he performs a respectful and grandiose ritual with him and follows him to various places. While trying to escape the piglins, he trusts Steve enough to let him ride on his back. However, his ego has also proven to dominate their friendship, attempting to surpass Steve and ignoring his warnings about Ender pearls.

(Example: instead of "This is a crafting table!", he says "This... is a CRAFTING table"). He loves teaching people about the Overworld. He also wants to defend the Overlord from the forces of the Nether and the Ender Dragon. Steve is very intelligent and resourceful, and knows how to remain calm in difficult situations. He has a house in the Village where he keeps his things and a wolf as a pet. He is the first human to set foot in the Overworld. Steve is a white man with long brown hair and a gray beard. He usually wears a cyan shirt, blue pants, and gray shoes.

The Overworld is a dimension and the main setting of "A Minecraft Movie". It is home to many passive enemies, Steve, and the villagers. The Overworld landscape is made of blocks. The Overworld features numerous different biomes and is depicted as a place of great beauty.
