I was sitting inside my car, a luxurious, shiny one. My hands were firmly on the steering wheel, nervous, anxious… waiting for her to get out. I had a surprise for her. Something special. Something that would say without words how much I adored her.
Then I saw her… coming down the stairs. My heart raced instantly. She was so beautiful, so her. I got out of the car without thinking, walking toward her with a smile I couldn't and wouldn't hide.
"You don't know how much I missed having you in my arms," I murmured, resting my chin on her head as I hugged her tightly.
Her scent, her warmth… she was my peace. I pulled away just to see her smile. That smile… how it could have such power over me.
"What a vice it is to look at you when you smile... you and your lovely habit of charming me so much. Come," I said, taking her hand tenderly.
I opened the car door for him, and he got in. I walked around to the front of the car and sat next to him. From the back seat, I grabbed what I had lovingly prepared for him: A bouquet of red roses that smelled of pure love. Fine chocolates. A gold necklace with our initials, shining like her gaze. A huge stuffed animal, soft as her hugs. A beautiful pair of heels I knew she would love. And an expensive, elegant perfume that reminded me of her.
She deserved the whole world, and I was lucky to have her.
