The HTC Dream (also marketed as the T-Mobile G1 and popularly referred to as the Google Phone or GPhone) was a mobile phone device manufactured by HTC. It was released on October 22, 2008, at an estimated retail price of US$179, and was, according to the company,[1] the first mobile communications device to incorporate Google's Android mobile operating system. Motorola Aura was a series of luxury mobile phones introduced by Motorola as part of its 4LTR product in October 2008. It was initially planned as a standalone model, then later three additional models were added to the line in 2009: two variations of the Motorola Aura Diamond Edition, and the Motorola Aura Celestial Edition.
Motorola advertising relied heavily on the design of the device, including a circular display and 300° swivel, stainless steel body, and sapphire camera lens.[1][2] It also came packaged in a wooden box upon purchase.[3]
The phone operated on Motorola's 'MotoMagx' operating system.[citation needed]
