Tom K. || “Connection to New York”

It was 6:00 AM, my brother Bill was fighting with Georg, and Gustav and I were sitting on the sofa with our suitcases, half asleep.

Today we were going to New York to give concerts; finally, when we left, we headed to the airport. The trip was long, but we were able to arrive ahead of schedule.

Finally, we passed through security and boarded the plane. We were on our way. Everyone was talking and laughing, and I just stared ahead, sleepy, when my eyes suddenly opened wide.

I saw a girl of about 15 years old enter, with her bag full of things and comfortable clothing; she was pretty and natural, something I loved about girls.

Luckily for me, she had to sit next to me. When she got on, she didn't even look at me; she simply put her bag down, looked straight ahead as if nothing had happened, and I was there like a fool, staring at her face, which seemed sculpted by Aphrodite.
