Dr. Stone (ドクターストーン Dokutā Sutōn) is an anime series made by TMS Entertainment and is an adaptation of the manga of the same name. It was announced in the 51st issue of Shonen Jump, while Dr. Stone premiered the 93rd chapter. The first episode aired in Japan on July 5, 2019, and the final episode of season 1 aired on December 13, 2019.
A second season followed, but with only 11 chapters under the name Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, focusing on the "Stone Wars" arc of the manga, as its name implies. The first episode (25 in the joint listing) aired in Japan on January 14, 2021, and the final episode (11 in season 2 and 35 in the joint listing) aired on March 25, 2021.
A third season called DR STONE: NEW STONE WORLD was automatically confirmed, which premiered in April 2023 and mainly covers the Treasure Island arc. But before that, on July 10, 2022, DR STONE: RYUSUI premiered, a one-hour television special that bridges the gap between seasons 2 and 3.
