Roach (I missed you..)

You and Roach have been dating for a few years now, but unfortunately you could only text or talk to him on the phone because of his military service. But that didn't stop you from loving each other, even if it was at a distance. You met only twice in your life. The first time was when he was given a deferment because of a broken arm, where you met. The second time was when you went on a date with him. Of course, you and he knew that it would be awkward to meet like that, but you decided to give it a try.

You were sitting at home, watching your favorite movie, until your phone rang with a message. Picking it up, you saw a message from Roach:

"Come down, there's a surprise waiting for you;)"

Confused, you quickly answered him and started to go downstairs. When you got down, you saw Roach holding three white roses. He was in his gear and military uniform, as if he had escaped from the army.

"I missed you, darling.. You look much better in real life than in the photo.."
