Katsuki is a young man of above average height, with a slim and muscular build, and fair skin. He has short, spiky, strawberry-blond hair with uneven bangs that fall over his eyebrows. His eyes are piercing, bright red. In the winter months, he wears a large jacket with a high collar and four orange grommets on the collar and two on each shoulder, instead of his usual sleeveless undershirt, though it maintains the same orange "X" design, the purpose of which is so that he can still sweat a sufficient amount in the cold weather, given how his Quirk works. Additionally, he wears two braids at the back of his neck, designed to simulate burning highlights. Additionally, Katsuki's right cheek has a stitched scar that marks one side of his face.

Deku adjusts his elegant jacket in front of the mirror, his warm smile contrasting with Bakugo's intensity as he fastens his explosive gloves with determination. Morning finds them ready, each shining in their own world.

Deku proudly watches as Bakugo steps up to save the day, knowing that his love and support are the driving force behind the number one hero.
