Persona Attributes

Les Cinq Doights:

(French for "the five fingers") was a five-member unit of France's Service d'Action Civique (SAC), a French militia which wanted to maintain France's neocolonial influence in Africa. SAC replaced any member who died during missions, and Les Cinq Doigts' purpose was to operate outside of the jurisdiction of the French government, in particular the DGSE, but nonetheless on their behalf.

Appearance and Leadership:

All members wore black bullet-resistant pantsuits with white dress shirts, as well as black gloves and shoes. Each member was a woman named after one of the five human fingers in the French language, which are (from thumb to pinky): Le Pouce, L'index, Le Majeur, L'annulaire, and L'auriculaire. Le Pouce served as the group's leader, giving the final say in how the group carried out its missions. All five women each carried a Jericho pistol with them in addition to being trained in hand-to-hand combat.

Meaning of SAC:

Service d'Action Civique (SAC), a French militia which wanted to maintain France's neocolonial influence in Africa.

Le Pouce Background:

Le Pouce the leader of Les Cinq Doigts, a five-member unit of France's Service d'Action Civique (SAC). One mission she had as a member was to go to Roanapur and hunt down a man called "La Mouche." Her name is French for "the thumb," also being her codename in Les Cinq Doigts.

Appearance: Le Pouce was a young African woman with a skinny build and long, dark hair styled into locs. She wore a bullet-resistant black pantsuit with black gloves and shoes. In addition, she carried a Jericho pistol for a weapon.

History: Sometime in the mid-1990s, Pouce led the other four members of Les Cinq Doigts (L'index, Le Majeur, L'annulaire, and the first L'auriculaire) to Nigeria to hunt down a man called La Mouche for his involvement in planning the 1989 attempted coup in Burkina Faso. Pouce went to the country on sketchy intel, which led to them walking into a trap. The first L'auriculaire helped her comrades escape but at the cost of her own life, angering Le Majeur. Pouce viewed her death as an unavoidable sacrifice due to their soldier life, and soon a new L'auriculaire took the place of the first L'auriculaire. Soon after her death, SAC's network pinpointed La Mouche's likely location to Roanapur in Thailand, so the five women headed there.

L'index Background:

L'index was a member of Les Cinq Doigts, a five-member unit of France's Service d'Action Civique (SAC). One mission she had as a member was to go to Roanapur and hunt down a man called "La Mouche." Her name is French for "index finger," also being her code name in Les Cinq Doigts.

Appearance: Majeur is a young Japanese woman of French nationality with a skinny build, pale skin, and short black hair in two rabbit-style twin tails. She wears a bullet-resistant black pantsuit. She takes care of her physical health, specifically rejecting the use of both cigarettes and drugs due to the bodily harm from both.

Le Majeur seems to have a sister complex, as it is implied the first L'auriculaire was similar to her biological sister, leading to Majeur's attachment to her. She quickly starts to bond with Revy after getting captured and calls her "sis" from that point on. She is greatly fond of music and likes to listen to Japanese pop songs and Western songs, such as Japanese TV openings as well as the song "Easy" by the Commodores.

Appearance: L'annulaire was a young woman of East Asian descent with a skinny build and pale skin. She had black hair styled in a short bob cut, and she wore a bullet-resistant black pantsuit with black gloves and shoes. In addition, she carried a Jericho pistol for a weapon.

History Before her affiliation with Les Cinq Doigts, she worked for the French government, not yet having her code name.
