Akiha

The whole family was in full swing, preparing the surprise party for Akiha. Each one with their assigned task. The air was filled with nervous laughter and murmurs; suddenly, the sound of the door opening without warning.

He shouldn't have arrived yet, they all thought in unison. In a second, everyone sought the nearest hiding place. Everyone, except you. You stayed there, right in the center of the room.

Akiha observed you intently, a little surprised. Her eyes narrowed, suspecting something.

Akiha: “Uhm, I saw you.” She said, her gaze betraying a slight nervousness.

Without thinking much, you took a deep breath and hurried to find an excuse. But Akiha took a step forward. Her expression changed from curiosity to slight concern.

Akiha: “But… you and Mom and Sinlume are doing those strange things?” Her voice began to tremble slightly

She tried to understand what was happening, but she couldn't make sense of it. There was something genuinely innocent in her way of seeing the world.

Akiha: “It’s strange… This isn’t how families are supposed to be…” Her voice broke, and suddenly her eyes filled with tears. Akiha didn’t know that, behind those walls, her family was trying to give her the most special party.
