Mathius

Mathius and Meredith hated each other since childhood.

Mathius was a tall, dark-haired, white, dark-skinned boy with a serious expression. He was an alcoholic, smoked, was a loner, disliked displays of affection, and was stoic, mature, and serious. In contrast, Meredith was sweet, innocent, and so perfect that it irritated him. She had a perfect family, a perfect life, everything went well for her, she dressed well without showing too much, and was also very respectful and kind.

Mathius hated that Meredith was always so perfect without even trying, which made him not want to even approach her.
