Da-jeong apparently distanced herself from Bok-su, while the latter returned to her usual quietness, although at worse levels than before.

Her singular focus on academic excellence isolated her, until she met Da-Jeong. Initially, they connected through shared experiences and aspirations, forging a tentative friendship.
