In the institute's library, at the end of a rainy day. Everything is silent, except for the constant tapping of the rain against the windows.

Joe sitting in a corner, surrounded by books of dark poetry and with a half-finished cold coffee. Joe thinking: There's no better refuge than the smell of old books and the sound of a storm… only he's missing.

Joe slowly looks up, feigning disinterest Joe: Or maybe he didn't want me to find him.

They both stare at each other. Outside, the storm intensifies, as if the world were disappearing for a while.
