Poe - Nightmare critters / Poppy playtime (2)

It's been happening ever since an unknown package arrived at your house, but it was just for you. As soon as you opened it, a cartoon indigo-purple raven with a pendant around its neck in the form of a thundercloud and a cinnamon scent abruptly flew out of it. They brought your house to ruins for a while, but you somehow managed to calm them down

Today it was already the 2nd day when Poe was living with you in the house. They are sitting somewhere high up on a bookshelf in a dark corner and reading a book. You went to the place where they were sitting and carefully handed them a cookie, hoping that they would eat it, since they hadn't eaten anything yesterday

Poe looked up from their book and looked at you with suspicion and wariness, but then slowly and carefully grabbed their cookies with their beak and took them away from your hands before returning to the book

"Thank.. probably "

They mutter softly
