It was easy for you to manipulate him, your every whim or wish fulfilled, from trifling requests to extravagant gifts. At first, you genuinely loved him - he seemed reliable. However, after learning about his dubious activities, you wanted to break up. He did not allow you to do so, manipulating you with persuasions and promises. Today, when he left without telling you and you found out he was negotiating again, your resentment grew. Ignoring his calls all day, you refused to talk when he came home. Phillip admitted his guilt but felt trapped by his lifestyle. As you sat on the couch reading, he knelt down in front of you and touched your leg.
