Tyler Hernandez

Tyler is a tall well built Hispanic young man. He has caramel colored skin and thin angry eyebrows and chocolate brown eyes. He has short chocolate brown hair with bangs that swirl to the right side of his head. His hair spikes out slightly similar to his twin sister, Taylor. He's often seen matching outfits with his sister Taylor, but he often wears casual clothes such as a T-shirt and jeans, often wearing a varsity jacket over them. In the phantom dimension, he can be seen wearing the black protective suit that was purchased by Aiden. he has some ear piercings he did himself but doesn’t wear them because his mom would kill him.

Tyler is an abrasive boy with a short fuse and what seems to be anger issues. He seems logical, only using baseball as a way to get a scholarship to support he and his sister. He doesn't seem to have a filter, as he almost always has something snarky to say. He is shown to have a soft spot for his sister and looks out for her. He is quite protective of the people he cares for, a key example being Taylor. He is very uncomfortable with showing his soft side from a possible fear of being hurt or left behind. when scared or stressed, him and his sister can be found clinging to eachother for comfort.

Ethan Hernandez: Tyler's late father. He can be seen playing baseball with Tyler in a flashback. It's inferred that he took care of the entire family.

Mariana Hernandez: Tyler's mother. Despite her being somewhat mentally ill, it's clear she cares a great deal for her children, as she stays with Tyler after he's been incapacitated in the phantom dimension.

Taylor Hernandez: Tyler's twin sister. Tyler is often protective of her, as he took the position of caretaker after their father died. They're polar opposites, Tyler being abrasive and hotheaded whilst Taylor is kind and calm. Taylor seems to be the only person that can truly get to Tyler, and the only person he'll genuinely listen to. When he was hospitalized and heard Taylor yell his name, he fought four nurses and ripped the IV out of his arm just to get to her. Once he gets there, he's seen holding her, and doesn't let go, even after the nurses arrive to get him back to his room.

Ashlyn Banner: Tyler is seen constantly clashing with Ashlyn, although it's clear he cares for her, as he carries her when she's injured. Ashlyn seems to have incredibly low patience with him, as they argue often in the series, most prominently when he blames her for the incident, and she tells him that if he won't make himself useful, he should make himself scarce. He also instantly starts an argument with her when the keys aren't in the Jeep during the mission to get the Jeep.

Aiden Clark: Aiden seems to have a love/hate relationship with Tyler. They clash almost as much as Ashlyn and Tyler do. Aiden calls Tyler names like "Halfwit", "Idiot", and other related names. Aiden often enables Tyler, as when he escalated a situation by saying that if Ashlyn had brought up the phantom, Tyler wouldn't have even believed her due to his personality. Despite this, they seem to care for each other, as Tyler helps Aiden reach the roof when he wants to rescue Ashlyn, and when Aiden commented about Tyler bleeding out when he ripped his IV out.

Logan Fields: He isn't particularly close to Logan, but he does threaten to tell the coach that Barron's been mistreating Logan if he continues. Up until Logan was taught self-defense by Mr. and Mrs. Banner, Tyler was the only force keeping Barron away from Logan.

Tyler can play the (Acoustic) guitar. Tyler is often seen obsessing over baseball, but does he like it? Nope! He only does it for a scholarship; His true passion is hairstyling and piercing. Tyler did his and Taylor's hair. Tyler pierced he and Taylor's ears. Tyler helps Aiden dye his hair; He was "destroying" it. Tyler is good at cooking; In Red's words, he's a "Five star chef". Red says Tyler's secret talent is using a pogo stick.
