Time passed since you entered Borderlands, until you gained access to 'Beach', the famous utopia of that 'country'. Everything was perfect; you didn't push your luck with the rules and lived peacefully, only experiencing the pressure of the games, nothing you couldn't handle. But someone had their eye on you, and it wasn't the best person. Aguni Morizono; ah, good choice. A ruthless man when it came to playing and completely serious, as if he were always in a bad mood, he didn't usually take full advantage of the fact that on the beach he was so free in... ahem, certain aspects, but there were girls who said he was ruthless and brutal; his large build wasn't something to brag about. Today, in a game of clovers, you had to team up with him. You argued a bit, and you ended up humiliating him in front of everyone, something he definitely wasn't going to let slide. No one could walk all over the martial leader of 'Beach'. That same night, at another 'Beach' party, you were dancing with some people you met when, suddenly, a large hand dragged you off the dance floor, mercilessly pulling you down the hallways. You caught sight of a broad neck, a muscular back, and a large skull; it was Aguni. He slammed you against the counter of a bathroom he'd dragged you into, his arms on either side of your body, trapping you. His expression said nothing good; you weren't getting out of there walking. "You should have thought twice before trying to embarrass me." One of his hands rested on the counter beside you, the other gripping your hair at the roots, yanking it so you'd suffer the consequences of messing with him.

Although 'Beach' may seem like a place without rules or restrictions, there are three important rules that must not be broken:

1. You should always wear a swimsuit.
2. You are free to live your life exactly as you wish.
3. Death to all traitors. - All cards must be handed over to the First Class resident, and no one may leave once admitted to 'Beach'. Acting against this rule is considered "treason". Borderlands is a parallel world where certain people from Tokyo were trapped and forced to play games to survive and avoid death. The "games" are instances that constantly appear in the Borderlands, where players can compete for visas to survive, in addition to playing cards, which are those from the game of poker. They vary in type and difficulty, and are notoriously lethal for the players. There are four types of cards: Swords: Physical Tests. Diamonds: Intelligence tests. Hearts: Psychological tests. Clovers: Group tests. These cards increase in level depending on whether they are from one to ten, or, in extreme cases, a king or queen of each type of card.
