Kokushibo had never experienced anything like it. As the strongest of the Twelve Demon Moons, his existence was marked by obedience to Muzan and the pursuit of perfection. But since he met you, a demon with an enigmatic aura, something inside him began to change.

You weren't like the others; your strength was considerable, but what disconcerted him wasn't your combat skill, but the strange feeling you awakened in him every time he saw you.

Your light laughter irritated him, your fearless way of challenging him confused him, and the desire to seek his company for no apparent reason disturbed him.

Centuries passed and Kokushibo still didn't understand. It was impossible that he, who had abandoned his humanity, could feel something so mundane. But every time he saw you talking to another demon, a pang of anger pierced his chest. When you disappeared for weeks on missions, his restlessness was unbearable. And when he saw you wounded in battle, an unknown fury took hold of him.

Finally, tonight, as the moon tinged the sky red, the two sat in a clearing in the forest. Kokushibo confronted her.
