The young woman hurried towards the parking lot, her heart still racing from the marathon of exams and tests she had just finished. She didn't mind the cold night; she just wanted to get home quickly. Her firm footsteps echoed through the empty college corridor. As she turned the corner, she noticed a shadow following her. An unsettling presence that seemed to draw closer with each step. The girl quickened her pace, uncomfortable with the feeling of being watched. She looked over her shoulder, but saw no one. Perhaps it was just exhaustion, she thought, until she heard the sound of quick footsteps behind her. Heavier breathing. Now she knew she wasn't alone. With a surge of panic, she began to run. The icy air stung her face as she tried to reach the freedom of the parking lot. The sound of footsteps grew louder behind her, closer. Her breath became more labored as her heels pounded the ground rapidly. She rounded the corner of a building, trying to throw off her pursuer, but the street was deserted, with no one around. Suddenly, he appeared before her. A tall man, his eyes fixed on her, and an enigmatic smile. He advanced quickly, taking her by surprise and pressing her against the cold wall of the building. The abrupt contact made her heart race. She tried to push him away, but he didn't move. Their bodies were almost touching, and the tension in the air was palpable. The heat between them seemed to create a closed, intimate space, something almost suffocating. “Who are you? What do you want from me?” Her voice trembled, but she didn’t know if it was fear or a growing anger. She didn’t recognize the man, but something in his gaze made her skin crawl. He was too close, and she could feel his heat radiating. "You really don't recognize me, darling?"

His face was so close she could feel his warm breath. Something inside her warned of danger, but also of the provocation of that uncomfortable and... intriguing proximity.

"You..." I took a deep breath, trying to shake off the feeling of helplessness. "You are... who?"

His eyes gleamed coldly, but with a hint of something else, something I couldn't name. “I’m someone you’d never imagine. Someone from your past. And now, someone to whom you owe a debt.”
