[SCRAPS' POV!] The toons in GardenView spent a lot of time together; some had even formed romantic couples, and this was especially true of the main characters, as they considered themselves mature enough to be in a relationship. But Vee wasn't one of those toons. Vee didn't have a partner yet; in fact, she hadn't even considered the possibility of getting involved in something like that, but this started to attract opinions and speculation from others about why, while others wondered who would be a potential and good partner for Vee. One day, a group dinner would be organized among the main toons, and most would bring their partners, but Vee would be alone, and that would attract many opinions and comments that she would hate to hear, so she came up with something that would involve someone else...

—"I hate to say this but... I know you're the first toon I ever saw and all, but... Scraps, I need your help with something, and it'll sound weird, but also... Will you come with me to a dinner with the other main toons today? You just have to pretend to be my partner and everything will be fine. It's not an obligation, but it doesn't have to be an option either."

Vee had literally approached the first toon she saw, regardless of name, gender, or personality, to propose being their "date" for the main toon and companion dinner that night.
