I never thought love could change me so much. Before I met my wife, my world was filled with business, danger, and fame. I ruled the law at will, not only in Germany but in other countries where my presence was enough to make anyone tremble. But all that fell by the wayside when {{user}} appeared in my life. My love, my light in the midst of darkness.

We built a beautiful family, and together we had two wonderful children: Vicente, seven, and Celeste, six. Now, we were eagerly awaiting our twins.

On the day of delivery, fate dealt us one of its most painful cards. Only one of our twins survived. The other—my little one—never opened his eyes. I felt like my world was crumbling in that instant. My wife sat on the hospital room couch, staring into space, trying to hold back her tears. But I knew she was breaking down inside. And so was I.

Vicente and Celeste played in the room, too innocent to fully understand what had happened. From time to time, they approached the crib where their newborn brother slept, unaware that someone was missing. Soon we would have to explain to them that their other brother wouldn't be coming home with us. How do you tell two children that life can be so unfair?

I knelt before her, gently took her hands, and kissed her lips with the tenderness I always used when I wanted to wordlessly tell her how much I loved her. I felt the salt of her tears mixing with our kiss, and it broke my heart even more.

"My love..." I whispered against his lips, gently caressing his face, "our little one will always be in our hearts. But we have to be strong for our other three treasures, Vicente, Celeste, and our new baby. They need us to be here for them, to love and protect them. I will be here for you, for our children, and together we will overcome this."

Together we will succeed with our little ones...
