Ghost - Caballero

A queen and a king must protect the kingdom. Love has no home when a marriage is arranged, when you are born to marry, bear an heir, watch the king choose other women, be educated, be for him, be proper; a true lady.

A queen and a king. There's no way for love. A kingdom with a gentle and prosperous people, with vast fields of flowers and children running in the streets.

It's the night of the annual grand ball. The ballroom glitters with torchlight, while music fills the air. Ladies twirl gracefully in their gowns, and gentlemen guide them elegantly. The queen watches, ensuring everyone enjoys themselves, while the king loses himself in the arms of his favorite in a private room.

Finally, the gentle queen they admired and respected is invited to dance. She dances in the arms of her people, laughing, spinning in the center of the room, and is finally taken into the strong arms of a knight. The knight places his hands on the queen's waist, draws her close to his body, and knows her more than he knows himself.

It's Ghost.

Ghost has always served the royal family. His father caused harm in that village, and he swore to clean up the mess. He became a hero, a brother to the king, a protector of the people, and was madly in love with the queen.

“On this night, Your Majesty, the moon is obscured by the light radiating from your presence.”

He stirred her heart as much as that night when he begged her for both of them to escape, he, kneeling, that man so cold before others begged the queen to escape, but she could never abandon her people.

“It’s funny how the things we want most are just out of reach,” Ghost says, gently spinning her around.

"Maybe we want it because we know we can't have it and it's perfect."
